Teaching Our Youth to Build A Foundation for Their Futures

The character development program is designed to promote positive awareness and accountability in our youth in our own communities. Own Our Homes will build on students’ strengths and reflect on their different experiences and exposures, which will focus on both academic and extracurricular goals and dreams.

It is a 4-tier program for Student-Athletes offering services in tutoring, counseling, and mentoring. The outcome of the program is to build strong character traits through reflection and success workshops. The Student-Athletes will enroll in and complete 30 sessions with parent and community assistance and support.  Completion of the program could result in high school scholarships and additional services.

Own Our Homes is a program that will help Student-Athletes reflect on the past, present, and future decision-making skills that have and will impact their livelihood.  Parent involvement is required for acceptance into the program.
